Making bubble tea (also known as boba tea) at home is a fun and delicious treat! Here's a basic recipe for making this popular drink:
Ingredients
For the Tea

2 cups strong black tea (or green tea)

2-3 tablespoons sugar (to taste)

1/2 cup milk or non-dairy milk (optional)

Brew the Tea:

Cook the Tapioca Pearls:

Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a large pot. Add the tapioca pearls and stir gently to prevent them from sticking together.

Reduce the heat to medium and cook the pearls for about 15 minutes, or until they become translucent and chewy. Stir occasionally.

Remove from heat, cover the pot, and let the pearls sit for another 15 minutes.

Drain the pearls and rinse them under cold water. Transfer them to a bowl and mix with sugar or honey to keep them from sticking together.
